October 10, 2011: 20 years at the TLPA Trade Show
San Francisco here we come! As expected Universal Tranware will of course be at the upcoming TLPA tradeshow at the San Francisco, Union Square Hilton! This is a special year for us as it will be our 20th year at the show and our very own Steve Furniss will be proudly wearing his 20 year pin. June 15, 2011: More Staff, Better Support!
Universal TranWare has expanded our support staff! As our loyal client base grows we believe that support you can count on is key to our success and yours. In an effort to serve you better we've brought on 2 full time support staff. Allow us to introduce Tom Brady and Steve Prefect. Both of which carry their own specialties and are here to help our clients take advantage of Universal TranWare's line up of feature rich software solutions. Tom, your primary back-end software support specialist, has a rich background in dispatching and customer service, while Steve is available with any questions or concerns you may have with our exciting new line up if in-car solutions.
Universal TranWare's 24 hour emergency support situation has also received a face lift of sorts, with the use of "Follow Me" technologies. What this means for you is that in times of crises if our first line on call support staff member isn't available your call will automatically be routed to his backup. Should he not be available and you get voicemail, you can be sure to receive a call back as soon as humanly possible, with our all hands on deck paging system. That's right if there is a voicemail left in the afterhours voicemail box, EVERYONE gets paged every 15 minutes until it's checked, insuring your problem gets solved quickly and with as little disruption to your business as possiable.

May 2, 2011: Universal TranWare Gets Brand New Digs
With the overwhelmingly positive response to our new product line we had no choice but to start interviewing more support, training and fulfillment staff and with more staff comes more space - It is a great please to introduce our bigger and better new office space located at 801 West Bay Drive in Largo Florida. Suite 714 if you're in the neighborhood. We love company!
December 1, 2010: TLPA Convention, 2010, Los Angeles
As a bit of a surprise to the industry, Universal Tranware unveiled it's new look, name, and began exhibiting a small sample from it's new line up of dispatch, in-vehicle and automated credit card payment solutions at the 2010 TLPA Annual Conference and Tradeshow in October.
As always we were happy to reunite with long time clients and industry friends. This time however, we were especially gratified by the warm reception and enthusiastic response our new offerings received. Comments like "This is what we've been waiting for", "How soon can I get this" and "It's nice to see someone we trust coming out with the solutions we're looking for" let us know we're taking things in the right direction.
We look forward to unveiling more components of our expanded solutions, partnerships, price incentives, and a range of exciting other 'surprises' that are still under wraps in the coming weeks. December 1, 2010: Star Trek's 'Mr. Sulu' beams into Universal Tranware's 2010 Client Appreciation get togetherAt UT's annual 'thank you' to our customers - this year featuring flowing libations, a delicious assortment of fresh west coast sushi and MexiCali finger foods, and a fabulous live jazz ensemble at the famous Millennium-Biltmore - we were joined by a very special guest.
Mr. George Takei, the famous Japanese-American actor best known for his role as "Mr. Sulu" in the original Star Trek TV series was on hand to exchange stories and playful anecdotes with our loyal customers. Clearly a man who has 'seen the future', he was excited about joining us for the announcement of our new products and wondered when we would be announcing a product that could 'beam him right into a taxi'. Stay tuned Mr. Takei ? we're working on it! (Scotty.. Status report??)
